Merck net rises 49% to Rs 26 cr

Merck India recorded a 49 per cent growth in net profit to Rs 26 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 as against Rs 17.6 crore in the correpsonding quarter last year. - Jindal Saw Q3 net up 46% at Rs 146 cr - Bajaj Auto posts highest-ever quarterly profit at Rs 403 cr - Motilal Oswal profit rises 74% to Rs 47cr - HDFC Bank Q2 net up 30 per cent - Parsvnath Q2 net up three fold to Rs 61.43 cr - Rallis India Sep qtr net up 9.9% to Rs 45.71 cr Net sales grew 21 per cent to Rs 130.18 crore in the September quarter compared to Rs 107.76 crore in the correpsonding quarter last year. Over the same period, operating profit excluding other income grew 55 per cent to Rs 22.8 crore in the quarter ended 30 September 2009 as against Rs 14.75 core in the year-ago period. Other income grew 8 per cent to Rs 11.65 crore in the September quarter compared to Rs 10.78 creo in het corresponding quarter last year.
