Aurobindo gets nod to market 2 more products in S Africa

Aurobindo Pharma Limited, a Hyderabad-based manufacturer of generic pharmaceuticals and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), has received approval from the Medicines Control Council (MMC) to manufacture and market two more products in South Africa. - Glenmark Pharma Q2 net dips 31% to Rs 81 cr - Natco to make 10 mn strips of generic Tamiflu available by Oct - Aurobindo gets US FDA nod - Aurobindo Pharma receives Swissmedic approval - Aurobindo Pharma receives Swissmedic approval for cefepime for injection - Aurobindo Pharma up 2.4% These are Auro-Ampicilin 500mg and 100mg injections and Auropidone 0.5 mg tablets that fall under the anti-infective and central nervous system categories respectively. With these, Aurobindo now has 37 products approved by the MCC, the company said in a press release on Thursday. Aurobindo’s scrip is currently trading at Rs 771.95 on the BSE, down 5.72 per cent as against the previous close of Rs 818.80.
